Arrival

Students are advised to arrive at the beginning of the semester, at least one day before the Orientation Programme begins.

Both Joensuu and Kuopio are very accessible from Helsinki: there are several flights, trains and buses running on a daily basis.

Please note that you are not entitled to student discounts on Finnish trains and buses until after you have arrived and registered at the university.
