Portering services

The university's general portering services comprise assistance and guidance, maintenance of general order and arrangements relating to facilities.

As regards the university's shared facilities, the university's porters are in charge of the usability of the equipment and furniture in the lecture rooms, conference room and lobbies, and they provide user support relating to AV equipment. The university’s porters also take care of  incoming and outgoing mail, door openings and closings, and minor relocations.

Furthermore, each academic department and building has its own specific needs and tasks which the porters take into consideration when going about their duties.
