Mariana Lyra is a researcher on natural resources governance at the Department of Geographical and Historical Studies. Her main research interests are extractive industries conflicts with communities and social movements against mining projects, especially in developin0g countries. Before being a PhD student, she spent several years as a consultant working on CSR and social license to operate.
