How to apply to the MSc European Forestry Programme?

The call for the applications for the course starting in August 2020 is now closed. All applicants will be informed about the selection results by the latest on 27 March 2020 by email.

The MSc European Forestry Programme (MSc EF) attracts many applications from prospective students every year. At UEF the application round opens each year in December for studies starting in the following autumn. Will we be receiving your application this year?

We warmly welcome talented and enthusiastic students from all over the world to apply. The minimum eligibility criteria are good command of English language and a BSc degree in forestry or a related field. The next MSc European Forestry Course begins in August 2020.

Our application period is open between 2 December 2019 and 22 January 2020 at 15:00 (GMT +2) for the course starting at the beginning of August 2020.  Please click on the links on the left to learn more about our eligibility and admission requirements. All applications will be automatically considered for an Erasmus Mundus (EMJMD) scholarship and you do not need to apply for that separately.


We will inform all applicants of their acceptance/ rejection by 27 March 2020. Please note that we will not be able to answer any queries related to your application status before that date, so please be patient. You will definitely hear from us as soon as possible.

Note: Our university has partnered with University Admissions Finland during previous application rounds, but our applications are not processed at University Admissions Finland during the application round 2019/2020.
