Special Issue: Transforming higher education teaching and learning environments
We are delighted to invite researchers and developers to contribute to the Special Issue on Transforming higher education teaching and learning environments in the International Journal of Learning, Teaching and Educational Research (IJLTER). IJLTER is an open-access journal established for the dissemination of state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of education, learning and teaching.
The Special Issue is connected to the Finnish Educational Research Association (FERA) 2019 conference with a theme “Learning landscapes are evolving – what of it?” on November 20th, in Joensuu, Finland. We welcome submissions that recognize the topics of the Special Issue and the FERA 2019 pre-conference theme, as well as other topics regarding the development of digital teaching and supervision environments and skills in higher education. Novel approaches to digi-pedagogical research and practices are welcomed. The manuscripts can be empirical, theoretical or practice-based. We expect not only methodological diversity but also reflections into digi-pedagogical aspects from various interpretative approaches and contexts in higher education. Kindly note, that submission and publication of a manuscript do not require attendance or a presentation in the seminar.
Authors are asked to study the IJLTER homepage and familiarize oneself with the scope and format of the journal (https://ijlter.org). IJLTER is classified as JUFO 1 in the Finnish Publication Forum rank.
