Research group
01.10.2008 -
Department of Technical Physics, Faculty of Science, Forestry and Technology
The group is led by Prof. Vesa-Pekka Lehto
The group develops inorganic silicon-based mesoporous materials for targeted cancer therapy, Li-ion batteries, and adsorbents of dissolved metals. The group has a strong background in material characterization methods, including thermoanalytical methods, X-ray diffraction, gas adsorption, spectroscopic methods (e.g., XPS, XRF, EDS, and FTIR), and electron microscopy. The group also has instrumentation for thorough electrochemical screening of active battery materials. https://sites.uef.fi/ppg/
