Abnormal exercise heart rate responses may indicate diabetes risk

Men with an impaired heart rate response to exercise testing have a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes than others. Slow heart rate recovery after exercise is also indicative of an elevated risk of diabetes, shows a recently published international study.
