Applying for the right to perform postgraduate studies

The right to perform postgraduate studies is applied from the Faculty of Health sciences. The required forms and instructions can be found from the Faculty's Education Web-pages. Ther required forms can also be downloaded there.

 

In addition, a research plan, reviwed and accepted by supervisor, is required. These three documents are sent to Faculty of Health Sciences, Amanuensis Arja Afflekt (contact information can be found on the forms, or Faculty Web-page).

 

The permission is admitted by the Dean. When you have been admitted to perform post-graduate studies, you need to fill in the student registration form and return it either by mail or personally to the Student and Learning services. Later, annual registration can be done in WebOodi.

All doctoral students preparing their thesis in the research groups of the Doctoral Program in Molecular Medicine are requested to register.

 

Agreement between the doctoral student and the supervisor

Doctoral students of the Doctoral Program in Molecular Medicine and their supervisors are requested to sign an agreement covering general guidelines for their mutual relationship in regard to the doctoral training process.

 

Good parctices and instructions

DPMM acts upon recommendations setteled by the Ministry of Education and Culture and these parctices are described in the program's Good Practices documents. Instructions on practical issues concerning PhD projects and supervision have bee formulated both for students and supervisors.
