Aims of Doctoral Education

Doctoral education and training has both scientific and general aims:

The graduates of the Program will be

  • experts in molecular medicine and its subfields

  • have excellent knowledge of biomedicine in general

  • be familiar with modern research methods and techniques

  • have critical and analytical way of thinking

  • have familiarized themselves with ethics in science

  • have excellent presentation, leadership and team work skills and good knowledge on technology transfer systems

  • gain full competence to act in international surroundings

Courses

The curriculum of the Doctoral Program in Molecular Medicine includes courses organized annyally or every other year. Moreover, several courses will be organized according to the needs. All courses are taught in English.
